ANIMATE IT is built so your photos stay yours. This policy explains exactly what that means.

Your photos stay on your device

Every photo you choose is scanned, made into video by the app's AI and exported on your iPhone. Your photos, your creations and your settings are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. Once the AI is set up, ANIMATE IT works fully offline.

Setting up the AI

The first time you set up the AI, your iPhone downloads the model files (about 7 GB) from Hugging Face, which hosts open AI models. Like any website, Hugging Face receives the download request from your device (such as its IP address). No photo, creation or personal information is sent, and nothing is downloaded again unless you remove the AI and set it up again.

What we collect

Nothing. ANIMATE IT has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it doesn't collect personal data.

Photos access

You choose photos with Apple's photo picker, which only gives the app the photos you pick. When you save a creation, the app asks for permission to add it to your Photos library; it never reads the rest of your library.

Purchases

Subscriptions and Lifetime are bought through Apple. Apple handles payment; we receive no payment details.

Notifications

If you allow them, the app tells you when a video you're making is ready, and can remind you two days before a free trial ends. These are made on your device.

Children

ANIMATE IT isn't directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
